The tournament will open to the group stages beginning on Friday, quarters and semis on Saturday then drawing to an end with the Grand Final on Sunday.
Competing for a cash pool of £800, a number of impressive teams taking part have already been announced, some of the most notable being Audacity, Eidos and Revenge, all familiar names within the UK CSGO scene.
More information regarding the Cash Cup.
One of the key names in the events organisation is Kanny, speaking to him on both his intentions and motivation for the competition he explains "The aim of this event is to allow amateur Counter Strike teams to have a platform to compete for a strong prize pool while still having good practice and a fair chance, all teams have the ability to take home the trophy.”
Kanny emphasises on the importance of giving smaller teams a chance by continuing to state “I want to help teams in developing by allowing them to play official matches against teams they might not normally get to play, whilst in an official environment.”
It will be exciting to watch this weekend unfold as Lucendi ensure an action packed contest, make sure not to miss out and be ready for the opening on Friday.
